Linoleum care
Regular Maintenance
Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt. Using a vacuum with a roller brush is best for removing trapped dirt from textured linoleum & Vinyl.
Wipe up spills promptly to avoid stains
Wash your floor as needed with a mop and warm water. For a more through cleaning use soft brushes. Clean flooring with a neutral solution or a slightly alkaline solution by rubbing with a soft brush. Rinse with water after alkaline solution is used.
Do not use dishwashing liquids or detergent soap cleaners. They can leave a sticky residue, which attracts soil and causes a reduction of gloss.
How to Treat Stains & Spills
Stains and spills such as acids, alkalis, blood, catsup, mustard, cleaners, strong soaps, dye, dye markings, food, candy, fruit and fruit juices, grass, iodine, rust, urine.
Care Instructions
Resilient sheet flooring is a breeze to maintain. Routine sweeping of dirt followed by the occasional damp mopping will go a long ways towards keeping your floors beautiful for years.
Each manufacturer has it’s own proprietary cleaning product that may be applied during the mopping process. We are believers that warm water mopping, mixed with a very mild cleaning detergent is entirely sufficient for regular cleaning.
